As an unarmed patrol officer at a leading aero and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. This is a driving post, so you will use a vehicle to support patrol coverage and timely response. You will deliver clear communication and customer service while reflecting Allied Universal values of being agile, reliable, innovative, people first, team focused, and acting with integrity.
Requirements
- An active DoD Secret clearance is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as required.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including business spaces, entrances, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access control points and observe for unusual conditions, then communicate instructions and/or directions in accordance with post orders.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, documenting observations, and coordinating with site contacts and/or responding agencies as needed.
- Complete timely reports and logs, including patrol activity, incident details, and equipment or facility concerns, using required written and/or electronic systems.
