Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at an education location, you will monitor and patrol campus areas, stay highly visible, and help to reduce security-related incidents. You will conduct routine rounds, support access control and visitor flow, and respond to concerns with calm communication and strong customer service. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an educational campus location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate campus personnel and/or public responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of campus buildings, grounds, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
- Monitor access points and observe student, staff, and visitor activity; assist with directions, policy reminders, and reporting of suspicious behavior.
- Complete required reports and logs, document incidents, and communicate observations and updates to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
