As an unarmed patrol officer supporting a financial services location, you will conduct routine rounds, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, assist with access control, and respond to alarms and service requests with clear communication. You will represent Allied Universal with a caring, people-first approach, working as part of a team that is agile, reliable, and innovative, while acting with integrity in every interaction. Position Type: Flex Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Thur 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical situations, alarms, and/or customer concerns.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, including entrances, lobbies, offices, parking areas, and the perimeter, as permitted by site guidelines.
• Monitor access points, help to deter unauthorized entry, and assist with visitor and/or vendor management in accordance with site procedures.
• Complete security-related reports and logs, communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and/or site contacts, and follow escalation protocols for unusual activity.
