As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced tech location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support access control and visitor flow as needed. You will be a go-to resource for employees and guests, providing strong communication and customer service. Requirements
- Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves

- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology and telecommunications location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting events and notifying site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision as directed.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and support order on site.
- Monitor access points, check identification and/or visitor credentials when assigned, and assist with visitor sign-in processes per site policy.
- Complete routine reports, shift logs, and incident documentation, and communicate relevant observations during shift turnover to support continuity of security-related operations.
