As an unarmed patrol officer at a high-end retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will greet shoppers and associates with a customer-first approach, communicate clearly with store leadership, and use a computer or tablet to document observations and support a welcoming environment. Requirements

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Have customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a retail location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical situations, disturbances, and/or suspicious activity, and notify appropriate parties as required.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the sales floor, back-of-house areas, entrances, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and/or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and coordinate with store leadership on opening and closing procedures, employee and vendor access, and visitor management consistent with site guidelines.
• Document and report incidents, observations, and shift activities in written logs and/or electronic systems, and communicate relevant information to oncoming staff and Allied Universal leadership.
