As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a fast-paced tech workplace, you will conduct routine foot patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and access control activity. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR Certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and site visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for a technology office location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken and communicating with site contacts as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, lobbies, corridors, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe the environment for unusual activity, reporting maintenance issues, hazards, and/or policy concerns through approved channels.
• Complete detailed shift reports and incident documentation, maintaining clear communication with supervisors and site personnel while following post orders and security-related protocols.
