As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will engage professionally with employees and visitors, respond to alarms and reported concerns, and document observations clearly. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Alarm Panel Experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, contractors, employees, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, production areas, warehouses, parking lots, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and control entry and/or exit using approved procedures, including verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, and directing foot and vehicle traffic as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, coordinating with site contacts and/or public responders, and documenting actions taken.
• Complete required reports such as shift activity logs and incident reports, and communicate relevant observations to Allied Universal leadership and/or site representatives.
