You will complete routine foot and/or vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and document observations and concerns. You will interact with employees and visitors with strong customer service, clear communication, and professionalism. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including interior spaces and the perimeter, as assigned.
- Monitor access points and observe for unusual activity, documenting findings per site procedures.
- Complete detailed reports of daily activities, observations, and incidents in accordance with Allied Universal requirements and site guidelines.
- Communicate with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, service needs, and operational concerns.
- Assist with maintaining order at the location by using de-escalation techniques and requesting additional support when needed.
- Operate site-specific equipment as assigned, which may include radios, phones, alarm panels, and/or basic computer systems.
