Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential community, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help support a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and assist residents and guests with courteous service and clear communication. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, and vendors by following site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and emergency response guidelines when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of residential common areas, building exteriors, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor and control access at entrances and amenity areas as assigned, verify credentials when required, and maintain visitor, contractor, and delivery logs per post orders.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and resident requests in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site management and/or public emergency services as needed.
  • Document patrol activities, incidents, and maintenance or hazard observations in daily activity reports and promptly communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
