As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct routine patrols across the location, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and provide customer service through clear communication and quick assistance. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license in line with AU Driver Policy Requirements. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or public emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, work areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access.
• Monitor access points and security-related systems as assigned, reporting irregular conditions, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns through the proper channels.
• Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and other required documentation in a clear and timely manner.
