As an Allied Universal Security Professional assigned to an access control post within a commercial real estate location, you will monitor entrances and exits, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and embody our values of agility, reliability, and teamwork while supporting a people-first environment. Position Type: Flex Pay Rate: $18.36 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Sun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations.
Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel and visitors.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Document all activities, incidents, and irregularities in accordance with Allied Universal and client protocols.
Communicate professionally with visitors, employees, and management while maintaining a visible presence.
Assist with security-related investigations and incident reporting as required by site procedures.
