As an unarmed, driving patrol officer at a busy commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, stay highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and assist tenants, visitors, and staff with a customer-first approach. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site contacts and/or dispatch, and support a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and guided by integrity.

Requirements

Speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or contractors at a commercial retail and plaza location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout common areas, retail corridors, parking lots, loading areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards or maintenance issues.
Monitor access points and public areas, observe for suspicious behavior, and assist with crowd flow during busy shopping periods and special promotions.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, medical situations, alarms, and/or property concerns, and coordinate with site contacts and public responders as needed.
Complete detailed reports and incident documentation, including patrol logs and shift activity notes, and communicate key updates to onsite management and Allied Universal leadership.
