As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a residential community, you will conduct routine vehicle patrols and visible checks throughout the property to help deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license under AU Driver Policy Requirements. You will respond to resident and/or guest concerns, document observations, and communicate clearly with your team, bringing an agile, reliable, and caring approach grounded in integrity.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or property management by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and communicate needed information to the appropriate contacts.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of residential buildings, common areas, amenities, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
Monitor access points and community gates where applicable, verify authorization for entry, and assist with visitor and vendor access procedures in accordance with site policy.
Complete routine documentation such as incident reports, patrol logs, and shift activity notes, and report maintenance hazards and/or suspicious conditions observed during patrols.
