As an unarmed patrol officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with visitors and tenants, and represent Allied Universal's values of agility, reliability, and teamwork while supporting a people-first culture.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and tenants by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the commercial real estate property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unwanted behaviors and/or hazards.
Report any suspicious activity, maintenance issues, or hazards to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
Support access control procedures by verifying credentials and/or visitor authorization as required by site policies.
Assist with emergency response activities as directed, following Allied Universal protocols and the location's specific guidelines.
