You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support access control and incident reporting. Requirements

• Have at least 1+ years of security-related experience.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, contractors, drivers, and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting events and communicating with site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, loading docks, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized activity. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
• Monitor access points and manage traffic flow for employees and delivery vehicles, including verifying credentials, maintaining visitor and vehicle logs, and directing drivers to designated check-in and staging areas.
• Support warehouse operations by observing shipping and receiving activity for security-related concerns, reporting hazards and/or suspicious behavior, and assisting with incident reporting and follow-up.
