As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a busy food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with calm professionalism. You will support staff and visitors with clear communication and strong customer service while documenting observations and escalating issues as needed. Requirements

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Have customer service experience, preferred.
• Have a guard card and/or license, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, loading docks, and parking areas to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points for employees, vendors, and delivery drivers; verify identification and/or delivery paperwork as required by location procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations to site leadership.
• Complete detailed, timely documentation such as daily activity reports and incident reports, and communicate security-related concerns to supervisors and/or appropriate contacts.
