As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to concerns, support access control processes, and communicate clearly with team members and site staff while delivering a welcoming customer service experience. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, vendors, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production and distribution location.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical calls, fire alarms, equipment alarms, and/or disruptive behavior, and notify site leadership and/or public responders as directed.
  • Monitor access points and visitor flow, verify identification and/or credentials when required, control entry to restricted areas, and document deliveries and/or contractor activity according to post orders.
  • Observe and report unusual conditions, damaged property, spills and/or trip hazards, and maintenance concerns, and complete accurate daily activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoffs.
