As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will support employees and visitors with clear communication, strong customer service, and timely reporting. Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and public areas, observe for suspicious behavior, and report concerns according to site-specific post orders and Allied Universal guidelines.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with evacuations, medical calls, and/or coordination with local authorities as directed.
• Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities in written and/or electronic reports, and communicate key information during shift handoff.
