As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents, and support access control for employees, contractors, and visitors. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards or maintenance issues.
• Control access at gates and/or entry points by verifying identification and documentation, directing visitor and delivery traffic, and maintaining visitor, vehicle, and/or shipment logs per site policy.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, assisting with evacuations when directed, and documenting actions taken.
• Complete accurate, timely reports including daily activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff notes, and communicate observations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
