As an unarmed patrol officer supporting a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine foot patrols of common areas, entrances, and parking zones, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to requests with clear communication and strong customer service. You will document observations, report concerns, and partner with site staff and your Allied Universal team. Our agile, reliable, innovative culture puts people first and acts with integrity.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial office property.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of interior common areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or access concerns.
• Monitor building access points, alarms, and other site systems as assigned, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations to site management and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including providing directions, assisting with evacuations, and coordinating with responding public services when requested.
• Complete routine documentation such as daily activity reports and incident reports, and communicate observations and follow-up needs to the appropriate contacts.
