As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech, media, and telecom location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and provide standout customer service through clear communication and timely reporting. This is a driving post, so you may operate a vehicle to complete patrols, respond to calls, and support access control as needed while working with a team that leads with integrity.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out access control, visitor processing, and other security-related procedures in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of offices, production areas, parking areas, and building perimeters to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, and/or other security-related systems, reporting concerns and escalating per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Complete detailed reports of patrols, incidents, and maintenance concerns, and communicate relevant updates during shift turnover.
