As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a fast-paced tech and media location, you will monitor assigned areas through routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support access control and visitor flow. You will deliver strong customer service and clear communication while documenting observations using site technology. This post requires a valid driver’s license under AU Driver Policy requirements. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.75 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Sun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, guests, and/or employees by following security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting concerns through required communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter routes; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with badge and/or credential checks as required, and help to deter unauthorized entry and/or loitering.
• Observe and report unusual conditions such as doors ajar, equipment issues, and/or suspicious behavior, and document patrols and incidents using required logs and systems.
