Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a dynamic tech and media environment. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents and promote a welcoming atmosphere for employees and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, provide exceptional customer service, and maintain open communication, all while representing our agile, reliable, and people-first culture built on teamwork and integrity.

Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, helping to deter unwanted activity in and around the location. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related incidents to appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or client representatives.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential issues and promote a secure environment for employees and visitors within the tech, media, and telecom location.
Assist with access control procedures, verifying credentials and monitoring entry points as required by site-specific protocols.
Document and communicate all activities, incidents, and/or irregularities according to Allied Universal and client standards.
