As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a leading logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entrances, check credentials, and help to deter security-related incidents through routine patrols and visible presence. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to designated areas within the logistics and distribution location, verifying credentials and providing clear directions to authorized personnel and visitors.
Assist with customer service by addressing inquiries and providing information related to site-specific policies and procedures.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and report any unusual activity.
Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
Support emergency response activities when appropriate, following the procedures outlined for the logistics and distribution environment.
