Your presence helps to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location, verifying credentials and documenting entry of authorized personnel, visitors, and vehicles.
• Provide customer service by answering questions and assisting employees and visitors with security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for security-related concerns.
• Report and document any suspicious activity, security-related incidents, or violations of site policies to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or client representatives.
• Support emergency response efforts by following site protocols and directing personnel as needed during emergencies.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disruptions and promote adherence to site policies.
