As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will communicate clearly with site teams and visitors, respond to concerns, document observations, and deliver customer service with professionalism. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, drivers, contractors and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Control access at gates and/or entrances by checking identification, verifying appointments and directing foot and vehicle traffic in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting events and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the warehouse areas, trailer and tractor parking, loading docks and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or hazardous conditions.
• Monitor alarms, cameras and/or other systems when assigned, and complete reports such as patrol logs, incident reports and shift activity summaries.
