As a Front Desk Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will greet tenants and visitors, support access control and badge checks, answer questions, and document security-related activity with clear communication. You will help create a welcoming first impression while staying attentive to lobby traffic and responding to concerns. Requirements

  • Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors at the front desk by following site-specific policies, access procedures, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Control access to the property by verifying identification, issuing temporary credentials as directed, managing visitor logs, and directing guests to the appropriate destinations.
  • Monitor lobby activity and security-related systems such as cameras, alarms, intercoms, and/or phone lines, and report irregular conditions to management and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting events, notifying appropriate contacts, and assisting with building notifications as needed.
  • Complete accurate administrative duties including incident reports, shift logs, tenant requests, and key control, and coordinate with property staff and/or first responders when directed.
