As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a prestigious hotel and resort location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the hotel and resort property, including the perimeter and public areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Observe and report any suspicious activity or hazards to management and/or appropriate authorities.
Support access control by monitoring entrances and exits, and verifying identification of individuals entering the location.
Assist guests and staff with security-related concerns, directions, and general information as needed.
Work collaboratively with hotel staff and Allied Universal team members to maintain a welcoming environment for guests and visitors.
