Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a hotel and resort location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service and communication to guests and staff. You will play a key role in supporting a welcoming environment, upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and innovation as you interact with people throughout your shift.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the hotel property and surrounding areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas to help to deter potential disturbances and/or suspicious behavior.
Assist with access control and/or visitor management as directed by site policies.
Report and document any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences in accordance with Allied Universal procedures.
Collaborate with hotel staff and management to address security-related concerns and support a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
Remain alert to changing conditions and be prepared to respond to emergencies or incidents as needed.
