As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a hotel and resort location, helping to deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming atmosphere for guests and staff. You will remain visible throughout your shift, support a caring and people-first culture, and provide outstanding customer service and communication while working as part of a reliable and innovative team.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and guests by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the hotel and resort property, including the building interior, exterior, and surrounding perimeter.
Monitor for suspicious activity and/or security-related hazards, and report any concerns according to established protocols.
Communicate clearly and professionally with guests, staff, and Allied Universal management as needed.
Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, and activities during assigned shifts.
Assist with access control procedures, helping to deter unauthorized entry to restricted areas of the property.
Support emergency response activities, following site-specific guidelines and instructions from Allied Universal supervisors.
