As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a school location, you will make routine rounds through campus areas, stay highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support students, staff, and visitors with professional customer service. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site contacts, and respond to concerns with calm teamwork and integrity, reflecting our agile, reliable, and innovative culture that puts people first. Position Type: Flex Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Mon 07:15 AM - 03:45 PM

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, students, parents, and visitors by carrying out site-specific policies, access control procedures, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, hallways, grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor entrances, visitor check-in processes, and designated areas to help identify unauthorized access, suspicious behavior, and/or hazards; communicate concerns to site leadership as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, disturbances, medical events, and/or calls for assistance; request additional support when needed.
• Document security-related observations, incidents, and patrol activities in written reports and/or logs; maintain professional communication with site contacts and responding public services.
