As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Your presence and customer service will help to deter security-related incidents while providing clear communication and support. Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
At least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

A guard card or license is preferred.
CPR and/or first aid certification is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
Observe and report any suspicious activity, security-related hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
Work closely with healthcare staff and visitors to address security-related needs and provide assistance as required.
Document all incidents and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal policies and client requirements.
