As an Access Control Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, confirm credentials, and maintain accurate visitor and vehicle logs. You will conduct routine patrols and remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents while providing clear, professional customer service to associates and drivers. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients at a logistics and distribution location by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Control access at entry points by verifying identification and/or credentials, processing visitors and contractors, issuing temporary badges, and maintaining accurate logs.
- Coordinate vehicle and driver access by checking in deliveries and pickups, directing traffic flow to designated areas, and communicating with site personnel regarding dock and yard activity.
- Monitor cameras, alarms, and access control systems; report unusual activity and/or policy violations to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision to help to deter loss and disruption.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, perimeter, and parking and/or trailer areas as assigned.
