As an Access Control Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will welcome visitors, manage access points, verify credentials, and support a smooth flow of people and deliveries. You will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and provide clear customer service and communication. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver’s license, where you will represent Allied Universal with integrity, teamwork, and a people-first mindset. Position Type: Flex Pay Rate: $18.36 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, employees, contractors and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Manage access control operations including verifying identification, issuing temporary credentials, maintaining visitor and delivery logs and directing guests to appropriate areas.
• Monitor cameras, alarms and access control systems and report irregular activity, unauthorized access attempts and/or system issues according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including completing incident documentation and coordinating notifications to site management and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the building, common areas and perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
