You will greet employees and visitors, verify credentials, manage entry points, and document security-related activity while helping to maintain smooth site operations. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR Certification is preferred.
  • Access Control and/or Badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
  • Control access to facilities by verifying identification and credentials, issuing visitor and contractor authorization per site policy, and directing arrivals to the proper check-in process.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, gates, and screening areas, helping to deter unauthorized access and supporting protection of controlled areas and restricted assets.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, access violations, and/or suspicious activity, and notify site leadership and emergency services as needed.
  • Complete required activity logs, access records, and incident reports, and communicate relevant information during shift transitions to support continuity of post operations.
