Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
Monitor access to the location, verifying credentials and managing visitor logs to help to deter unauthorized entry.
Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Communicate with property management, tenants, and/or other personnel as needed to address security-related concerns or inquiries.
Maintain awareness of the surrounding environment from the front desk to help to deter suspicious behavior and report unusual activities.
Assist with emergency response activities as appropriate, including following evacuation or lockdown procedures when required.
Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
