As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols across yards, docks, and access points, helping to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. You will monitor activity, respond to alarms and service calls, document observations, and communicate clearly with site teams and visitors, bringing integrity, teamwork, and a people-first approach to every shift.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate internal personnel and/or public emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, warehouse areas, trailer yards, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Control access by monitoring vehicle and pedestrian entry points, verifying credentials and/or shipping paperwork as required, and directing visitors and drivers according to site procedures.
• Complete detailed reports of daily activity, incidents, and observations, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site leadership.
