As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy hotel and resort location, you will monitor and patrol guest areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support front-of-house teams with clear communication, respond to alarms and access control needs, and assist guests with a professional, customer-focused approach. Requirements

  • Have 1+ years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to guests, staff, and vendors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a hotel location.
  • Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to on-site management and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of interior public areas, back-of-house spaces, and exterior perimeter, checking doors, gates, and access points for irregular activity and conditions.
  • Monitor and control access to restricted areas, assist with crowd management during events and peak occupancy periods, and help to deter unauthorized entry and/or disruptive behavior.
  • Complete detailed activity logs and incident reports, communicate observations and shift updates to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership, and support investigations by preserving observations and relevant information.
