Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will perform unarmed patrols, monitor key areas, and complete routine rounds to help to deter security-related incidents. You will remain highly visible, communicate clearly with team members and site contacts, and provide strong customer service while documenting observations and responding to incidents. Requirements
- Have 1+ years of security experience.
- Be 21+ years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to the client and site personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and documenting actions taken.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
- Monitor access points such as entrances, gates, and loading dock areas, assisting with visitor and driver check-in and/or directing traffic flow as needed.
- Complete reports and logs, including patrol activity, incident reports, and observations, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
