As an unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to discourage security-related incidents. You will interact with staff and visitors with professional customer service, communicate observations, and document activity. Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Client requires proof of high school diploma and/or GED.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• A guard card and/or security license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors at a financial institution location by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe for unusual activity near cash handling and customer service areas, and assist with directing visitors while maintaining a professional presence.
• Complete routine reports and incident documentation, communicate security-related information to site contacts, and support shift briefings and/or post orders.
