As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will document observations, respond to concerns, and communicate clearly with site teams and visitors. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following post orders, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as directed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting and documenting security-related concerns per procedure.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, loading docks, parking areas, and the perimeter, noting unusual activity or conditions.
• Control access points by checking identification, issuing visitor directions, monitoring deliveries and pickups, and maintaining required logs and reports.
• Support site operations by monitoring alarms and/or cameras where assigned, communicating with supervisors and first responders when needed, and assisting with incident follow-up.
