Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will communicate clearly with site teams, document observations, respond to calls for assistance, and deliver customer service with integrity. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, administrative spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
Control access at gates and/or entry points by checking identification, authorizations, and visitor purpose in accordance with site procedures.
Monitor cameras, alarms, and other systems as assigned and report unusual activity, hazardous conditions, and/or maintenance concerns to the appropriate contact.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting emergency services and/or site leadership when needed.
Complete detailed written reports of daily activity, incidents, and observations, including the use of electronic reporting tools when assigned.
Participate in shift briefings, post orders updates, and site-specific training required by Allied Universal and/or the location.
Provide directions and general assistance to employees, contractors, and visitors while maintaining a professional presence.
Conduct foot and/or vehicle patrols in varying indoor and outdoor environments, including around heavy equipment and high-traffic operational areas, as required by the location.
Support investigations by preserving observations, maintaining chain of communication, and cooperating with site management and/or responding authorities as directed.
