As an Access Control Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, screen visitors and vehicles, and maintain clear logs and communication with site teams. Your visible presence and strong customer service help to deter security-related incidents while supporting smooth daily operations. Requirements
- Possess a TSA issued TWIC.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, contractors, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial location.
- Control access at gates and/or entry points by verifying identification, authorizations, and delivery documentation, issuing temporary badges as directed, and maintaining required entry and exit logs.
- Monitor alarms, cameras, radios, and access control systems, reporting unusual activity and documenting events per post orders.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying site contacts and/or emergency services as directed and completing accurate reports.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas, including the perimeter and critical assets, checking for irregular conditions and reporting maintenance and/or operational concerns per policy.
