You will stay visible, perform routine patrols, document activity, and support security-related needs with a customer-first approach. This is a driving post requiring a valid drivers license. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, vendors, and employees by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Perform access control duties by verifying identification, managing visitor registration, issuing and/or collecting badges, and directing authorized personnel to the appropriate areas.
• Monitor entry and exit points and report irregular activity, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations, including alarm activations and access control issues, by following post orders and notifying the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of office, production, and/or campus areas and the perimeter, documenting observations and reporting maintenance or security-related concerns.
