As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at an automotive location, you will monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide outstanding customer service while utilizing technology such as computers or tablets. Requirements

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Monitor access points to help control entry and exit of personnel and vehicles at the location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Document and report any irregularities, suspicious activity, or security-related incidents according to company and client protocols.
Assist visitors, employees, and contractors with access procedures while maintaining a professional presence.
Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and client personnel to support a secure environment at the location.
