As an Access Control Officer at a busy food and beverage production location, you will welcome employees and visitors, verify credentials, manage entry points, and document activity while watching for security-related concerns. You will stay visible, communicate clearly, and help to deter unwanted access through consistent procedures and professional customer service. Requirements

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and a rustic guard shack.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and guests by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Control access at designated entry points by verifying identification, managing visitor and contractor sign-in, issuing temporary badges as directed, and directing individuals to appropriate check-in locations.
• Monitor alarms, CCTV, and/or access control systems; report irregular activity, door-forced events, and other policy violations to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with incident documentation and communicating updates to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, loading docks, and the perimeter, noting hazards, unsecured doors, and suspicious activity that may help to deter unauthorized access.
