As an Access Control Officer in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor and vendor check-in, and conduct routine patrols to help to deter security-related incidents. You will remain highly visible, communicate clearly with team members and site staff, and document activity with attention to detail. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Control access at entry points for a logistics and distribution location by verifying identification, issuing temporary badges and/or passes, and maintaining visitor, contractor, and driver logs.
• Monitor inbound and outbound vehicle and trailer traffic, confirm scheduled deliveries and pickups when applicable, and document irregular activity for management review.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying site leadership and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
