Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
  • This is primarily a driving post.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients at a tech and/or telecom location by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Control access to the facility by verifying identification, issuing and/or tracking badges and credentials, managing visitor check-in and check-out, and directing deliveries and service providers to approved areas.
  • Monitor alarms, cameras, and access control systems to help identify unauthorized entry attempts, policy violations, and/or unusual activity, and document observations per site requirements.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as directed, and completing detailed incident reports.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of interior spaces, entrances, loading areas, and the perimeter to help support access control compliance and report maintenance hazards and/or suspicious conditions.
