As an Allied Universal Access Control Officer at a tech, media, and/or telecom location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor access, and conduct routine patrols to help identify and reduce security-related concerns. You will remain visible, respond to requests with clear communication, and deliver a high level of customer service. Requirements

CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and contractors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology and telecommunications location.
Control access at designated entry points by verifying identification, managing visitor and vendor sign-in and/or credential checks, issuing temporary badges where authorized, and directing individuals to approved destinations.
Monitor assigned areas using CCTV systems and/or access control platforms, report irregular activity, and help to deter unauthorized entry or policy violations.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services per post orders and documenting actions taken.
Conduct regular and random patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas, observe for unusual conditions, and complete required activity logs and incident reports.
