Join Allied Universal at a busy manufacturing and industrial location where you will support access control by greeting visitors, verifying credentials, issuing badges, and managing entry and exit points. You will conduct routine patrols, document security-related activity using a computer or tablet, and communicate clearly with site teams to help identify concerns early. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. Bring integrity, teamwork, and a people-first approach.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to the client by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Control access at assigned entry points by checking identification, verifying authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining visitor, contractor, and delivery logs.
  • Monitor inbound and outbound vehicle and pedestrian traffic, direct visitors to designated check-in areas, and report unusual activity that may help to deter unauthorized access.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, documenting details, and coordinating with site contacts as directed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas, entrances, and perimeter routes, noting hazards, unsecured doors, and policy concerns and reporting findings per site procedures.
